Internal membership in a library is a special category of membership provided exclusively to individuals associated with a particular organization—typically including staff, faculty, and students.

This membership offers enhanced access to library resources and services, such as extended borrowing periods, access to exclusive collections, and participation in specialized programs.

Members are required to adhere to specific usage guidelines and policies, ensuring that the library's resources are maintained and used responsibly. The internal membership system is designed to support academic and professional engagement by facilitating easier access to research materials and other learning resources within the institution.

External membership in a library is designed for individuals who are not directly affiliated with the institution, such as community members, independent researchers, or members of other organizations. This membership often involves a registration process and may require a fee, offering access to a range of library services and resources.

Please take note : 

• All members must pay RM5 for registration and RM5 for membership card.
• Five (5) membership cards will be given to the company. The officers must show their cards to the security/PeTARY staff at the entrance. Loans will only be allowed to officers authorized by the company.
• Loan period for books is 2 weeks.
• Facilities given does not include Internet facilities.
• Members who pay membership fee for 10 years in one lump sum will become life time member.
